Description
The Guelph Jazz Society Parade Band is a beginner friendly band that welcomes drop in musicians and singers, shy hand clappers, spirited dancers, and listeners of every stripe. On Monday nights this summer we meet at Exhibition Park’s south trees from 6:30pm to 8:00pm to learn beginner friendly and uplifting music. Bring your instruments, a variety of shakers, rattles, and percussion with be provided.
Participation is free, but donations are appreciated with a suggestion of $10 per session.
Mondays from 6:30pm to 8pm, June 1st to August 31st at the south east end of Exhibition Park.

Get the music for free here! The music is organised in 4 easy parts, High, Low, and Bass, and Percussion. You don’t need to read music to participate, but help will be available!
Parts for all common acoustic instruments are available:
- Brass: Trumpet, Trombone, Sousaphone, French Horn.
- Woodwinds: Saxophones, Clarinets, Flute, Recorder.
- Strings: Guitar, Ukulele, Violin, Viola.
- Voice: All ranges.
- Percussion: Snare drum, bass drum, etc.
