Guelph Jazz Society Record Library Borrowing Policies
- A Guelph Jazz Society Membership is required to loan items from the library. The cost of membership is $10 per year.
- A $30 refundable deposit is required to borrow records. The deposit can be paid in cash in person, or paid online.
- If need be replacement costs for damaged or lost records will be taken from this deposit.
- Deposits can be refunded once all records have been returned. Please contact guelphjazzsociety@gmail.com to request your deposit returned either in cash or to the card payment was processed from.
- Loans are for $2 for 2 weeks from the date of drop off.
- There are no late fees, just do return your records please!
- Records can be picked up and returned to the drop box located at La Poche at 40 Quebec St. In downtown Guelph. Pickups are usually available the next business day during business hours. The last drop off is always listed on this page.
- Please let us know if there was any issues with the items you loaned. The condition of records is tracked, and it’s helpful to know of any playback problems.
Browsing the Catalogue
For advanced queries, search the catalogue on Discogs. More metadata is maintained there than on this site in order to keep the logistical task of running the library simpler. Once you’ve found an item you’re interested in you can find it quickly on the store front to checkout.
Many items have missing or incorrect album art on this site, that’s ok, it would take a lot of time and energy to resolve for maybe not a lot of public service.
